Area of responsibility included the Mid-Atlantic coast from North Carolina to Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, featuring portions of six states, the District of Columbia, and associated federal territorial waters. Focused on the delivery of federal services and financial assistance related to port infrastructure development, marine transportation, intermodal connectivity, marine security, and regional ocean planning.

Directly supported the Secretary of Transportation, Administration and Congressional officials in a variety of capacities related to the development, implementation, and communication of national surface transportation priorities and policy.

Served as transportation, infrastructure, and urban affairs policy advisor and representative to the President, overseeing clearance and coordination of significant rules, regulations, public communications, and policy proposed by USDOT and HUD. Regularly staffed and briefed the Assistant to the President for Policy as well as other Domestic Policy Council, National Economic Council, and other White House and Administration officials.

Authored content and developed layout for public-facing materials, including the 2035 People, Planning, and Preparing for the Future: Long Range Transportation Plan Executive Summary. Developed a Transportation Improvement Program database, explanatory materials. Assisted Recovery Act capital programming and program management. Provided strategic engagement support for the groundbreaking two-year regional planning effort.

Developed virtual “coastal flyover” for the Texas Legislature featuring areas damaged by storm activity. Coordinated with agency staff to develop cartographic products, geospatial visualizations, and maintain online/internal data.
