John has over 40 years’ experience in the commercial property industry working predominantly in institutional valuations, consulting, development appraisals, capital transactions and fund management. He has worked in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. John was a director of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) for 30 years working primarily in Sydney and Melbourne. He was appointed an International Director of the firm in January 2004 and spent several years in senior management roles and on the Australian and Asia Pacific executive boards of JLL.Until early 2023 John had Asia Pacific responsibility for leading and managing JLL’s Advisory and Consulting Services platform across the key service line areas of Valuations and Advisory, Strategic Consulting and Social Infrastructure.Following a sabbatical John returned to JLL in early 2024 as the non-Executive Chair of the firm in Australia. He advises the senior leadership of the business across the entire enterprise in a client management, business development, corporate opportunities and problem solving initiatives.John recently joined the board of Capstone Recruiting as a non executive director and advises the business on business strategy, networking and talent management initiatives.
