Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club including stadium, ticketing, hospitality, catering, retail, grounds, and HR. Business lead on key infrastructure projects such as the installation of a new Hybrid pitch at the City Ground to allow further commercial opportunities.

-Working alongside the Ownership on strategic planning short and long term of the football club.-Development & coordination of the club’s financial strategies, processes, reporting to ensure the club maximise financial output.-Cashflow management, led on all club financing, this includes borrowing against player transfer, broadcasting revenue.-Guiding the club finances through Covid-19 pandemic, cash planning, quick reaction to ever changing environment, furlough calculations, raising short term finance. - Leading the football admin department and ensuring full compliance in all areas such as Premier League, EFL, FA and agent reporting.-Control of complex player contracts, including authorising the monthly payroll, reviewing potential new transfer contracts to measure financial impact and ensure club are within the EFL P&S guidelines.

-Full responsibility for the finance operation of the football club which includes monthly, year-end and English Football League reporting. -Set-up a new reporting structure for both the board and departmental managers to allow focus on revenue growth and cost control.-Introduced financial control procedures, such as a purchase order system and expense policy. Full roll out of new electronic PO & Expenses system which included digital scanning of invoices.-Produced detailed 3-year forecasts, key focus on the club’s sustainability and funding requirements from the owner. -Long term financial strategic planning, drove the ticketing pricing structure which reduced family tickets with the focus being on long term growth. Detailed modeling to outline yield.-Focused the catering team on maximising match day revenue by enhancing ‘Zonal’ reporting, this included improving labour management, reducing wastage & improving in-match-planning,-Provided structure to the club’s retail operation with improved stock management and buying policy to improve working capital.-Supplier contract review, reduced merchant service costs, saving estimated £150kpa.-Main contact for HMRC enquiries, full review on agent fees, national minimum wage, and a full VAT audit. -Detailed cashflow forecasting, weekly report issued which details a 13-week period and a summarised 12-month period.-Full knowledge of training solidarity relating to foreign transfer agreements.
