Endurance.Net was established in 1994 as a global focal point for the passionate equine endurance community. 100 Mile horse races, with shotgun starts and 24 hours to complete. Over the past 20 years, Endurance.Net has pioneered the projection of equine events to the global endurance community. We have covered numerous World Championship events from all parts of the globe while also providing cultural background to local endurance communities. Our global network of endurance riders continues with my-endurance.net. One early experiment in community information systems, started as a free dial-up internet service to the community of Moscow, Idaho, grew into the largest wireless internet service provider in the inland Pacific Northwest. A full breadth of services were provided during the rapid internet expansion of the 90s including "Project 509", supplying services and training to all economic development agencies in the 509 area code (state of Washington); Providing content management services to the American Bar Association and numerous global legal firms; and continuing our contributions to open source and core computational capabilities.
