As the lead member of Homeland Security project, installed Cisco 1400, 1310, 3750, and ACS Appliance to create backbone and wireless hot spots for Howard County Sheriff’s Dept, Kokomo Police Dept, and Howard County Emergency Management Agency for the homeland security communications upgrade.· Lead team member for the Howard County Courthouse remodelingproject. This was primarily infrastructure upgrades to fiber optics as a backbone. Database Administrator for 6 SQL 2000 Servers ranging from Tax, Assessment, Document Storage, and County Recorder operations. Duties were to install support, perform updates, run Scripts, implementmaintenance plans, troubleshoot performance issues, and develop SOP for staff. GIS coordinator working closely with the Howard County Surveyor converting data for GEO Processing models. Also, created Reconstruction, Assessment forms via Crystal Reports that utilized SQL views frommultiple Tables, and queries. I had to setup DNS, DHCP, Backup schedules. We used the Grandfather – Father Method. Worked directly with Schneider Corporation to implement DrainCALC for the Surveyor’s Office by creating views, queries, and stored procedures. Assume IS Director Duties in his absence includes reporting to the Board of Commissioners and Elected Officials concerning monetaryappropriations, project status and system integration proposals.
