Working in a contract position for HP at an Energy organization. Assisting with producing and arranging sign off of a number of documents to aid with the transition and migration of Windows and UNIX applications from one data centre to another. Included in the role were assisting in understanding the environment and technical design documents put together by TA's and arranging to get the hardware kit installed and built out under Change Management processes and procedures where requried.

Working in a contract position for HP at a Financial Bank, assisting with the infrastructure implementation of new UNIX, Windows and Data Feed Financial Infrastructures from London data centres, to new Watford premises. There are a number of individual applications included in the infrastructure migration that consist of trading systems and data feed applications. Included in this work is the overall project management during the migration periods, both intraweek and weekends, managing and reporting the status to the Bank senior managers and HP management.

Infrastructure Support Team Leader 3rd line supportDuring 2009 to 2010 Projects and deliverables have included:• Design and build out of new Europe Domains and hand over to Belfast support. This included a migration and build out total exceeding 300 new servers across sites over the last two years. This work included design and implementation of 2003; 2008 AD; DNS along with a new File Server solution using DFS with ABE across sites with various policy works• Much development and fault diagnostic work has been carried out around a complex DNS suffix environment with 58 available suffixes across sites required for resolution for both the trading and corporate environment.• Fault diagnosing and troubleshooting of continued replication; routing and AD issues caused as a result of a complex network routing environment and merging of companies across sites with tight network port access lock down. • Support and development of 7 Forests and 15 Domains running a variety of Windows AD 2000;2003;2008, preparing and updating schemas where required for 2003 to 2008 and replacement Domains.• Decommission of several old domains running 2000; 2003 technology in various site locations.• Planning and migration of a variety of 3rd party and in house applications onto new global Europe domains running AD 2003; 2008 technology• Implementation of an Infoblox 2000 Grid Master and 1050 Member servers to replace an existing network QIP network solution.• Installation; design and development of new Europe Central Management domain for user access into a secure network.• Expansion and development of a second Central Management Domain in Europe for global use.• Cross training and various documentation updates and hand over work to a new replacement team in Belfast.• Management of a small 3rd line support team which varied through time from 4 to 7 staff.
