Offering several Masters of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) courses, as part of the TTU MSEM Online program. Will eventually be teaching several General and Basic Engineering courses by Fall 2021. Planning to conduct scholarship in both Engineering Education, Distance Education, and Additive Manufacturing & Design.

Mechanical Engineering Faculty. Research: 1) Developing new control algorithms and mechanisms to more closely mimic dynamic muscle reaction under loads. Goal is to improve powered prosthetics and exosketetal devices.2) Medical/chemical assay strip reader development. Primarily packaging.3) Developed and directing a design and rapid prototyping support center at NAU to support faculty in research and business development in technology areas.Teaching: Developing (seems to never end) engineering design/project management courses for freshmen through senior engineering undergraduates. Also Engineering Graphics, CAD/CAM, Manufacturing, and Kinematics classes. Prior:Sabbatical research for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, August 2009 - April 2010. Specifically, for the Renewable Fuels and Lubricants (ReFUEL) Research Laboratory in Denver, CO.Formerly: Director of Design4Practice Program. The "D4P" program encompasses the shared, undergraduate, design curriculum across all the engineering programs at NAU.

Research Engineer at NREL's ReFUEL Laboratory in Denver, CO. On Sabbatical from Northern Arizona University--testing new engine configurations, hybrids and fuel blends. (All done, lots of fun!)

Doctoral Candidate in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Specialty. Taught as visiting professor for one year following doctorate award in areas of Manufacturing and Operations Research.

Mechanical Engineer. Amtech Systems was acquired and split by Merc in 1999 (?). TransCore remained as a separate company, where most of my original job remained (I think). I was enrolled in Virginia Tech's doctoral program when the acquisition occured.
