Working mainly on Cornwall County Council farms. Doing everything from roofing, lime plastering. Making stable doors. Fitting/replacing guttering (it never rains in Cornwall ;) ). And a lot more

Started on dayshift in the pastry department.Moved to the very first nightshift team and ran the pastry department on my own. Increased production in Lynher Bakery meant taking on new staff. We went to 3 staff on permanent nights. I was in charge. We'd start at 14:30 Sunday and finish at 06:00 Monday morning:D That was a looong night!6pm till 6am for 5 nights thereafter.

3 Years on the Youth Training Scheme learnt all you need to know about cars ;)

In charge of the ovens. Started at 2am in the summer holidays. Made pasties, pastry, egg custards and many more wonderful food.Hot doughnuts with tons of jam was probably the best though. Did the same job the year before. The owner was the brother of the garage I work at in the next bit 😀

Started work in my mum and dad's newsagents and grocery shop for 3 hours a day in the summer holidays. Progressed to doing that job and washing up in restaurants and cafés. Some years I'd be doing 4 or 5 jobs a day. From dog walking to grass cutting. Great days! 😀
