My work involved, developing omnidirectional vision capabilities for autonomous navigation applications. During this period I was able to design and build a stereo assembly structure to mount Ricoh (360 vision) cameras on top of a car. A strategy was developed to calibrate the system which later enabled in obtaining omnidirectional RGBD sequences. The work also involved, verifying the real-time implementation of autonomous navigation using the experimental platform ZOE with lidar as its primary sensor.

I was working on the topic, Autonomous Navigation based on Hidden Robot Concept (HRC). It was an initial investigation to synthesize a navigation task based on HRC (a concept that models sensor interaction with basic geometric primitives such as points and lines as a hidden parallel robot). The task was defined within the framework of task function approach.

I was involved with a project that aimed at the Development of a Hydrokinetic Energy Conversion System. I performed static stress and modal analysis of the mounting structure with the ducted turbine. I was also responsible to supervise the fabrication of the experimental prototype. The fabricated prototype was later tested in experimental phase performed in a towing tank facility to verify power.
