Responsible for TIG welding stainless steel corrugated pipe. Cap welding the ends of the pipe with a band and steel braid covering the pipe, fusing all 3 together for a fitting to be applied to the cap weld. Also responsible for identifying badly prepped hoses or hoses not prepped in accordance with the orders( i.e. incorrect lengths or material used). Sizes of pipe vary anywhere from ¼ inch diameter to 12 inches in diameter.

Part of a team responsible for cleaning up the weld school after class was finished for the day. Responsibilities included Sweeping the floors, cutting metal (with saw and oxyfuel torches and plasma torches both handheld and on track systems), grinding, cleaning machines, simple fabrication, organizing materials, stocking consumables, and closing down the shop.
