I currently work with internal and external partners on educating our sales teams from a wealth perspective and embedding new wealth solutions and key priorities in the bank. One of the key priorities is the Asia wealth strategy which includes driving the Jade proposition in HK, China and Singapore. Other areas of I work on include ESG/ sustainable investing, behavioural finance and retirement planning.

I work for the group wealth management team where my role is to collaborate with key group stakeholders and countries on driving specific needs based sales related campaigns. This is to assist in enabling countries to drive sales and productivity from the Premier proposition in order to achieve rolling operating plans. The group wealth network delivers a significant proportion of overall RBWM revenue in HSBC’s major wealth markets which include HK, China, UK, France, USA and Canada. To assist in successful campaign implementation sales aids and other best practice material are gathered and shared between country and group teams.

I worked for retail banking and wealth management (RBWM) in Asia Pacific where my role was to position the bank as the provider of choice for holistic financial planning, wealth related products and retail banking. I implemented group and regional strategy in countries to drive sales and productivity from the branch channel in order to achieve rolling operating plans and also ensure customer service levels and sales quality guidelines were met. I worked closely with individual country management to maximise efficiency; increase overall productivity and revenue generation from a broad range of products with a particular focus on wealth. This was achieved by leading and implementing change behaviour in providing best practice solutions to support activity management in a needs-based selling environment to encompass new client facing sales tools, training and coaching.
