This includes all pre-employment medical health management processes, injury management activities, claims management and return to work coordination and providing health related advice to the company.• Act as the interface between the company and Medical / Return to Work providers and insurers to facilitate recovery and timely return to full duties for any ill or injured employee.• Provide advice to company and employees and manage work related and non-work related claims.• Review and approve all pre-employment, employment and return to work medicals and provide advice to company of any operational impacts.• Perform medical follow-ups and investigation as required including assisting with on-call after hours Injury Management.• Develop and deliver relevant Medical and Health related training initiatives as required by the PM Offshore Health, Safety and Environment Management System Manual.

• Management of a portfolio of high-risk and long-tail workers compensation claims such as fatalities, stress claims, major injuries and fraudulent claims to provide pro-active claims management strategies to reduce claims costs and duration.• Provide mentoring for other staff in claims management and settlement negotiation strategies. • Facilitating education and training seminars and workshops for employers insured with GIO.• Have filled in as both a Team Leader and a Technical Officer on several occasions during extended periods of leave of people in these roles providing Technical advice for the team and coordinating staff resource planning during these times.• Assist injured workers with their return to work and claims issues.• Conduct regular file reviews for corporate clients with workers compensation claims.• Liaise with all stakeholders within the workers compensation system to facilitate effective and efficient return to work outcomes and / or claims resolutions.

• Management of a portfolio of workers compensation claims in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981.• Assist injured workers with their return to work and claims issues.• Conduct regular file reviews for corporate clients with workers compensation claims.• Liaise with all stakeholders within the workers compensation system to facilitate effective and efficient return to work outcomes and / or claims resolutions.

• Coordinate and oversee venue maintenance to facilitate required technical support for artists and hirers.• Maintenance of safety systems as required under the Public Buildings Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.• Recruitment, training and supervision Front of House staff. Responsible for high level of service to patrons and performers alike. • Negotiate show contracts for seasons up to 2 years in advance, providing ongoing advice to all stakeholders.• Collation and presentation of Box Office sales reports, and theatre costings to appropriate persons and organisations e.g. visiting management/ producers/ performers/ agents/ Director of Finance.• Daily and end of season reports, maintenance of theatre log reports for insurance and archive purposes.• Provision of information to potential users of venue and follow up contractual advice, including technical specifications for the venue.• Updating and maintenance of the Entertainment and Broadcasting Industry Award as determined by the Industrial Relations Commission and the Media Entertainment & Arts Alliance.• Liaise with publicists, media, and community and commercial groups to assist in the implementation of the promotion and sale of their events, including advertising schedules, displays, poster and handbill distribution etc.

• Assist the Director, Community Business Services in the development, implementation and ongoing communication of strategic plans, policies and objectives.• Initiate and encourage activities in the theatre through effective planning, programming, production, budgeting and publicity procedures.• Act as entrepreneurial consultant to local underwriters with the preparations of budget, travel arrangements, accommodation and publicity.• Supervise and direct staff to ensure a constant high standard of service to patrons as well as maintaining cleaning standards.• Monitor and review staff performance and provide counseling and advice.• Identify and provide ongoing training and development of Unit staff.• Prepare and oversee the preparation of reports to Council and Executive Management.• Coordinate and oversee all venue and equipment maintenance.• Prepare and submit grant applications and reports to funding bodies.• Develop harmonious relationships with all customers, internal and external.• Maintain observance of Public Health, Fire Brigade, Council and High School Laws, Ordinances and Regulations including discipline and security within the theatre and its grounds.• Prepare, manage and control the annual budget for the venue.• Prepare, manage and control the delivery of services of the Unit in line with the approved annual budget.

Responsible for theatre administration, safety and front of house operation during nightly performance. This position required a high level of maturity and responsibility as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Duties include:• Liaison with back stage manager, box office, directors, producers, sound and lighting technicians and theatre manager throughout each performance.• Greet public and collecting tickets on the door.• Handling patron inquiries, difficulties, complaints or emergencies.• Staff training, rostering and supervision.• Responsible for merchandise sales, stock control and nightly balance of monies.• Theatre security – coding in/out of security system, fire safety and log book entries, monitoring foyer during performance, on call security after hours.Box OfficeResponsible for taking phone and counter bookings, solving ticket problems, recording nightly ticket and money balance, banking administration and deposits.MiscellaneousOperation and maintenance of cinema projection and sound equipment, PA systems, slide projectors and multi-screen applications.
