I have worked in the hi-tech industry for over 30 years, in many roles such as: engineer, sales, business development, co-founder, and program manager. I have experienced the highs of several successful acquisitions and the stress of failing to secure funds and the company shutting down. I also discovered, through much trial and error, that by living a balanced life and giving proper attention to other areas of my life, I was happier -and more productive at work.I recently started Hermosa Life -with the goal of sharing those lessons learned and guiding others in discovering their appropriate work life balance. I am working with folks just kicking off their careers, and others who are transitioning to new careers- predominantly in small start up environments. As a separate but closely related effort- I provide financial literacy and basic investment advice, as ones career and financial standing are closely connected.
