Nothing in this world excites me more than working with start-ups and growing companies. Not only do I love the innovation and creativity, but I have always been drawn to flexible corporate structures of emerging businesses and the freedom to pursue different avenues of growth. Although starting a business comes with many challenges, I embrace these challenges with an optimistic, determined, and passionate drive to solve every problem and follow them to completion. When it comes to my leadership style, my friends, family and colleagues have described me as caring, dedicated, supportive, calm and charismatic leader. I have developed these skills through 10 years of leadership both as an Athletes Representative for the Junior Canadian National Luge Team, and as a Team Lead at Injanation. My experience has taught me that a successful team requires a people first attitude, opportunities to fail and learn, a passionate drive to work through adversity, and a caring attitude to help people get through their most difficult days. My working experience truly represents my passion for problem solving diverse issues and flexibility when it comes to working in different position. I formerly worked as a Market Analyst for DGS Axiom where my duties revolved around demographic analysis for two major Canadian retailers. I successfully led the product process team while working with Best Buy and was able to create an effective and efficient operating environment. As well, I formerly worked full time as a Team Lead for Injanation and was the key contributor to developing the Ambassador role for the company. These diverse experiences have helped me become a proficient worker who is capable and ready to adapt to any environment.

My role as a Senior Product Process Specialist was to organize my team in a way that optimized process flow for orders, merchandise, outgoing and incoming stock, and deliveries. I was successful in this role by organizing my staff based on skills and expertise which resulted in the product process team having an order pick rate that was 1-2 minutes faster than the optimal times set by Best Buy. I also created task lists each day to ensure that downtime was being used effectively to maintain the warehouse and ensure that product process team knew what to prioritize without supervision.
