I manage a team of Engineers who specialize in the design and development of complex metallic fabrications and thermal insulation solutions (including composite materials). I am also responsible for the fire testing laboratory, verifying fire resistant designs in line with customer / industry / Quality specifications (e.g. BS EN ISO / IEC 17025:2017) and new product introduction (NPI).

I managed a team of Program Managers and Engineers, who designed and delivered engineering solutions for pipeline pigging / tracking and pipeline isolation plugs within the energy sector.

As well as the continued management of all Engineering activities, I was responsible for the quality function within IK-UK ensuring compliance to ISO9001 / 14001.

I managed a team of Engineers who specialised in the design and development of pipeline pigging and isolation equipment within the energy sector. I was responsible for all Engineering activities required to ensure robust solutions for specific customer pipelines and operations.

This role involved leading project / design teams to develop innovative solutions for Automotive Chassis and Suspension structual products. I would generate the development costs associated to the R&D resource requirements of the projects which would include R&D Project Management, CAD, CAE, Prototypes and Testing. As the Technical Lead, I ensured that internal and external customer expectations aligned to key engineering specifications and organisational requirements. I was responsible for delivering the key R&D project milestones, ensuring the design team deliver the required standard of CAD / CAE / 2D Drawings (GD&T) for the business, as well as leading DFMEA, and TVM activities. I was involved with the writing of departmental procedures, and I also the main contact for a number of customers (national and international), which did involve the need for travel to customers for technical discussions.I also mentored new employees, internal and external from other global plants and company trainees, as well as university / school experience students.

Working closely with different elements of the organisation to providing robust Automotive Chassis and Suspension structual solutions to specific customer needs. The role regualry involved leading design teams (CAD & CAE) into developing efficient product solutions which met both internal and external customer requirements. I was also responsible for the development and checking of CAD / Drawings and DFMEA's for numerous products.

Involved with the development of Automotive Chassis and Suspension solutions within the testing Laboratory environment, ensuring the products conformed to the required engineering specifications. My role varied from test creation (working closely with Design), managing the testing schedules through to the maintenance of the Laboratory (Hydraulic & Electronics).
