Working on comercialising a novel approach to solar cell manufacture its capable of reducing fabrication costs through a single pass roll to roll process where all nessesary connections and separations are designed into the product through the use of structural embossing. This approach can hopefully reduce fabrication costs of solar modules to below 3p per watt.Now have a pilot coater and are producing working devices using roll to roll vacuum coating and subsequent printing of solar absorbing inks!?partner technologies for energy storage and transparent barrier / hardcoat have been developed and show promise in producing an integrated long life flexible solar power and storage system .

I started this company a few years back and while it is now beginning to work for me I have had to do everything for it. It is a tech transfer company that I used to develop solutions for customers and in that process I built up equipment allowing myself to design some interesting solutions for solar cell applications and in vacuum coating of interesting organic compounds.Recent developments have included rapid coating of water repellant coatings (item fully coated and water resistant in teh time it take the object to fall 1 meter through our reactor). The conversion of glycerol into a solid polymer through a low cost radiation curing system and the development of new roll to roll system for high speed low energy coating of functional and protective organic layers.
