● Solid knowledge of municipal storm water, sanitary sewer, and water systems, and as well as surface infrastructure (roadways, bike lanes, boulevards, sidewalks, street lights, street trees, etc.).● Topographic survey, Map GIS and as-built data inquiries with municipalities.● Coordinate and attend municipal planning/engineering review meetings to address DS Lee Engineering’s interests, record minutes and circulate to attendees/land development group.● Letter of credit system management, including reductions and coordination with consultants, contractors and municipalities.● Competent in all areas of draftsmanship applied in planning.● Knowledge of zoning, municipal bylaws, right of ways and other pertinent regulations and bylaws involved in the project.● Coordinate onsite/offsite design with architect, geotechnical engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, landscape architect, project arborist, traffic consultant and others involved in the design and construction process.● Offsite/onsite design coordination with private utility companies (BC Hydro, Shaw, Telus, Fortis).● Design road alignment and lot/road grading to meet the city’s standards.● Liaison with city employees regarding project redlines or comments.● Monitor the site progress and review the quality of the work completed. Report any deviations from the project timelines or specifications to the project manager.● Prepare and submit as-built or record drawings.● FUS calculation and report. ● Ornamental street lights calculation and optimization.● Elaborate construction cost estimate and quantity take-offs for offsite civil works.● Print and submit civil drawings through the City of Richmond ePlan Submission. ● Document management and formatting, maintain land development share directory, archive completed projects and related files digitally.● Prepare formal response letters to approving agencies addressing engineering comments.
