In addition, develop and support the firm's proprietary supplemental tax sub-systems that are licensed to the firm's clients.A few of the recent projects are:Created a C# process to read Retail Store transaction files, parse transactions and pass data through a Web Service for tax calculation and tax compliance. The C# process averages between 3.3 and 3.5 million sales transactions per month comprised of 20 million line items.Designed a C# interface to parse a delimited Retail Store file, merge its records with a source file containing tax jurisdiction-level Product taxability data yielding a file that is processed by COBOL/CICS Legacy system that drives tax calculations for an international multi-brand retailer.Developed an Oracle database application for a client used to store POS, Web, and Catalog information utilizing data change triggers. The process automated the monthly update of tax jurisdictions, tax rate information and the maintenance of product taxability information. Additionally, an interface was created to calculate and compile Sales and Tax reporting information from the client's POS and Web system transactions

Products are distributed through Dealers and Retail channels.; Manage the Company's Active Directory-based environment. Provide support back office software including Call Center phone system. Responsible for enhancing and maintaining a custom business environment (Order Entry/Processing through and including Fulfillment/Shipping) utilizing VB6 and MS-SQL Server. Devising and maintaining all analytical, financial, management and operational reports et al using Crystal Reports. A few recent projects are: Researched, designed and programmed an integrated Accounts Receivable module. Features include Credit Card processing through an XML Web Service, Payment Authorization emails and Statement processing. Resulted in a 70% decrease in processing time over the existing QuickBooks integration.Added an ordering system to the company website to handle new and repeat orders using ASP.net and C#. Process retrieves past order information using Web Services from a SQL Database.Designed and implemented an address validation and classification process utilizing an XML interface provided by ConnectShip. The process reduced UPS address corrections from 50 - 60 per week to less than 10, decreasing delivery time to our customers and significantly reducing the associated costs.
