CurrentResponsibilities:Strategizing technology directions of the company Providing technical guidance and coaching to other engineers. Designing, developing, maintaining, testing, and deploying core infrastructure artifacts, libraries and archetypes.Architecting, designing and implementing distributed solutions at scale.Doing review and analysis for code performance and scalability. Conducting architectural reviews to ensure software design and security standards and software development’s best practices are followed.Building teams, hiring developersHands-on coding: 50% Software designing & architecting: 50%Tech stack: Front-end apps written in Angular, React and React Native(mobile app) leveraging 60-70 microservices(SpringBoot) via Restful API.Continuous Integration and delivery (CI/CD).The services are deployed on Amazon Cloud (AWS).Other technologies include: SpringBoot 2.x, Spring 5, Spring MVC 5, Hibernate 5, Maven, JMS, AWS(S3, CloudFront, SNS, etc...) Postgres, MongoDB, Vagrant, Docker.Accomplishments:Designed and built a standard microservice template(SpringBoot 2, JDK9) (90% of the company’s current microservices are built based on the template).Architected, designed and helped build a distributed, performant and high-availability localization solution to enable all applications to be rendered in any language at ease.Designed, built and led an effort to add a significant value-added feature, gamification, to the learning platform application.Designed and led an effort to build-SSO(Single Sign On) solution for all the applications.-A sophisticated live class scheduler microservice to match teachers with students and route them to virtual classrooms (Zoom).-A new payment service with quality service (QoS) to handle all subscription purchases for the company.-The company's Learning Platform for the students.-Highly distributed and reliable lead service.Recruited and built three new development teams for growth.
