John was born and raised in the Kansas City area, graduating from Graceland University in 1985 with a Business Administration degree. He started his career in printing industry in 1986 in a sales position working for TransAmerica Color Systems. Primarily dealing with 4-color process film preparation and digital film assembly, he had a diverse client base. Working with Advertising Agencies, graphic designers and Printing Companies throughout the city allowed him to familiarize himself with the people and inner workings of the entire lithographic industry.In 1999, one of his clients, and college friend, Jeff Martin, decided to hire him away to work for Control Printing Group, Inc. John brings his knowledge and expertise, as well as 30 years of selling experience to this diverse group of sales people. He likes to think of himself as more of a “customer service” than “sales” mentality, and his customers agree. He truly enjoys helping others and working with his clients to find solutions and answers to their needs. With Control Printing Group located in Independence and John’s residence in Overland Park, Kansas, he has the city surrounded with a blanket of service!
