I participated in investor roadshows post full-year and interim results announcements and assisted with the successful raising of a €750m 6 1/2 year bond in 2017.

Key Responsibilities included:Leading the Finance Team (c. 20 people) that supported the business with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, management information, financial control, financial reporting (including audit sign-off) and SOx compliance;Member of Corporate Banking Senior Management Team responsible for the development and implementation of strategy and overall governance; andMember of Bank of Ireland Group's Technical Accounting Committee which monitors and reviews key accounting policies and judgement items across BOI Group.Key Achievements included:Led the successful execution of a €7bn deleveraging programme in 2011 - 2012 which accounted for the majority of BOI Group's €10bn deleveraging commitment under its EU Restructuring plan. The programme comprised a number of international loan book sales and accelerated programmes within BOI Corporate Banking. BOI CB's deleveraging programme was delivered ahead of schedule and at a significantly better than expected financial outcome;Played a key role in the successful turnaround in performance in BOI CB working closely with lending teams to grow core lending book volumes, net interest margins, increase fee income and improve operating performance; andSuccessfully developed enhanced management information reporting capability within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities included:Provided inter-bank market making pricing of Irish Punt to a range of North American banks and to the BOI New York corporate desk; andProprietary trading across a range of foreign currency exchange pairs.Key Achievements included:Consistent track-record of exceeding individual profit targets; andSignificantly increased fx deal flow on the back of competitive pricing and the development of key North American client relationships which were subsequently transitioned back to the BOI Dublin trading room in May 1997.
