• Client coordinator every year-end external audit with big 5 auditing firm as well as factor audit with CIT.• Assist the CFO in preparing month end close reports including journal entries, account analysis and related reporting for US and parent company in Japan.• Oversee all general accounting and reporting systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable.• Oversee all aspects of accounting of wholesale, ecommerce (esp transition from Magento to Shopify) and 10 retail stores using Teamwork system.• Manage store bank reconciliation process and related entries to the General Ledger—ensure accuracy, correct cutoffs and proper treatment of chargebacks, etc.• Execute day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to the month-end close, journal entries, and related projects.• Responsible in providing the sales data to 3rd party company for sales tax returns and property tax lings and manage other regulatory reports.• In charge in making sure all company taxes and licenses are being renewed on time such as garment license, business licenses among others.• Work closely with AP re daily cash position to be presented to the COO and CEO.• Project in charge in the ongoing conversion of new accounting system from MAS 100 to Microsoft Dynamics SL.

• Assist in month-end close efforts by preparing account reconciliations and supporting schedules, and work with the Finance team to investigate and document variances to Budget and Forecast.• Serve as primary liaison and owner of all reconciliations surrounding the Company’s factor and work closely with the AR team to ensure proper recording of transactions on a timely basis. • Prepare regular financial account variance analyses which will become the foundation for monthly analytics and narratives to the Company’s ownership. • Oversee the intercompany and intracompany transactions and reconciliations for the Company, ensuring proper recognition of revenue and expenses to the correct legal entity. • Ensure proper recording and timely capitalization of all CIP projects and manage Fixed assets schedules. • Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid and deferred expenses, and accrual schedules for recurring charges • Enhance procedures surrounding the month-end close process, working closely with the Controller in providing and implementing recommendations surrounding the month-end close. • Engage and partner with other Finance team members as well as other departments as needed to resolve accounting questions and issues quickly • Support external auditors and other vendor requests for information. • Prepare and file property tax, sales tax, and other regulatory lings for the Company. • Work closely with outside auditors to accommodate their audit requests such as Trial Balance, reconciliations, schedules etc.• Power user and team member to fully integrate, transition/conversion of new accounting software from AS400 to Microsoft Dynamics AX.
