OVERVIEW:I directed all aspects of an educational program that provides services to Maine, Vermont,Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York, with full responsibility for an 8-figure annual revenue total and 7-figure profit total. Leading a team of over 140, including10-14 direct reports, I developed and managed strategic goals for both the organization and department. In this capacity, I built productive relationships with internal teams as well as all funding agencies in core states.As a VP, I planned and managed multiple annual grant programs (Title 1, Title 2, Peoples United, CARES Act, American Rescue Plan), several committees (Risk Management, Compliance, Cross-Organizational Leadership Team, Res/Ed Lead Team), and the Family Resource Center w/ multiple components. In this role, I also represented child services in agency leadership meetings.A key component during this period was collaborating with multiple departments on key initiatives. With, HR, I worked on staff interviewing, hiring, and orientation, as well as creating professional development and corrective action plans, With IT, I coordinated efforts on program compatibility with the agency system, equipment updates, relevant training, and database development. With Maintenance, I worked jointly with the team on safety and compliance matters.

HIGHLIGHTS:☑ Built a School Leadership team of 10 and a Child Development Center Leadership team of 5 to fuelorganizational growth efforts, along with designing and projecting a new $6M school building.☑ Drove a series of cost reductions throughout tenure that included a $1.1M+ reduction in workers comp yearly payouts, $125K decrease in annual spending through a service transition initiative, and $75K reduction in lost funds for the Child Development Centers, as well as a $400K bottom-line gain for the Centers.☑ Led the organization to achieve 98% compliance from on-site reviews for the past 15 years, as well as achieving NAEYC Accreditation for both Child Development Centers (5-year approvals for 3 straightyears).☑ Drove significant departmental advancements in technology that included developing and implementing the e-file system LAURIS, as well as contributing to the HR transition from PeopleSoft to Dayforce.2018.☑ Maintained full availability of all services every day during the COVID-19 pandemic. Implemented and trained staff on Zoom (reducing exposure to COVID w/o reducing services offered).☑ Influenced the largest participation of staff members among all departments for 4 consecutive years in terms of contributions to fundraising efforts.☑ Contributed to a state regulation change that all private schools would receive at least a 5% increaseon their rate (below 1% every year prior to the change).

OVERVIEW:As Director, I managed day-to-day operations that included long-range strategic planning, serviceexcellence, quality improvement, and the development of new/existing marketing opportunities. Creatingand implementing educational programs and the curriculum, I oversaw the referral and intake process forall students and families, the school lunch program (NSLP), and the student discipline/behaviormanagement policy.In this capacity, I ensured effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and staff retentionstrategies as key components of team building and development. Additionally, I established andmaintained positive relationships with HR, IT, Facilities, and Residential Program team members, as wellas interacting directly with vendors and suppliers.HIGHLIGHTS:☑ Played a key role in the merger of Harbor Schools, building a leadership team and introducing them tothe Easter Seals mission and procedures.☑ Generated $10K+ in savings for all private providers by implementing a web-based curriculum(OdysseyWare) that was approved by the Department of Education.☑ Created and implemented a series of new programs that included an Orientation Program for all staffmembers (contributing to average retention from 8 months to just over 2 years), GradeLink Program(produced .5 FTE savings), and Bully Reduction Program.☑ Enabled acceptance of younger students into the school by creating a K-3 curriculum. Additionally,rewrote the entire existing school curriculum to ensure compliance with all NH DOE regulations.☑ Assisted staff in earning educator certifications by bringing college courses to the agency, with 7 staffmembers out of 8 completing the program and gaining their certifications.☑ Earned the President’s Award in 2013.

OVERVIEW:As a Coordinator, I interviewed and hired all personnel, assisted in staff and program development, andcoordinated staff training as well as all teacher/staff meetings. I conducted teacher supervisions andclassroom observations, with a focus on constructive feedback. Handling a wide range of duties, I communicated with all parties involved in students’ Individual Education Plans (IEPs), managed student scheduling, the afterschool program, and IEP meetings, and coordinated monthly and quarterly academic reports.HIGHLIGHTS:☑ Created a Vocational Program with multiple occupational opportunities, including Housekeeping, Landscaping, Childcare, Auto Repair, Recycling, and Food Service.✔ Introduced a Job Fair for students (including resume writing and interviewing).✔ Partnered with the Manchester School of Technology on a student participation initiative.✔ Added ServSafe, First Aid, CPR, and Babysitting to the curriculum.☑ Introduced strategies that reduced student incidents by 20% and cut aggressive behaviors by 85%.☑ Received the organization’s Manager of the Year Award in 2006.** Prior positions with Easter Seals NH included Behavior Specialist and Training Specialist.
