ASSIST WITH REGULATORY COMPLIANCE EFFORTS AND ADHERENCE TO COMPANY SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. DUTIES INCLUDE: FILES AND DOCUMENTS ADMINISTRATION ON THE RIG. LIASON BETWEEN RIG MANAGEMENT AND SAFETY GROUP. ADMINISTRATION OF AD HOC AND SCHEDULED SAFETY DRILLS/TESTING. SEMS COMMUNICATIONS TO RIG EMPLOYEES. DIRECT, SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE THE CLERICAL DUTIES OF THE 3RD PARTY MEDICS ONBOARD. COMMUNICATE AND WORK CLOSELY WITH THE OIM, TAKING SOME INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE OIM AND CONVEYING INSTRUCTIONS TO HIM/HER FROM THE OPS/ASST OPS MANAGERS AS WELL AS THE HS&E MANAGER AND/OR OTHER SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Supervised deck hands in performance of daily maintenance activities, including painting and housekeeping. Oversees rigging and scaffolding activities in support of deck and hull maintenance work.Ensures reliable operation of marine equipment, including navigation lights, anchor windlass, winches, and other equipment important to maintaining seaworthy conditions onboard the rig.Supervises anchor-handling and mooring operations on deck; including bringing vessels alongside.Supervised deck loads and painter teams.Uses radio and telephone equipment for aircraft and vessel communications.Provided carpentry support wherever required on the rig.Can serve as the Helicopter Landing Officer and can be in charge of the helicopter crash crew during helicopter operations.Acts as deck crew team leader for emergencies; assesses, reports, and coordinates actions to minimize and control damage. ASSIST THE DRILLER, MOTORHAND, AND DERRICKHAND WITH THE EVERYDAYOPERATIONS OF THE DRILLING RIG. INSTALLS AND CHECKS FLOOR EQUIPMENT,PERFORMS CHECKS ON ALL DRILL STRING COMPONENT, CHECKS RIG ANDEQUIPMENT REGULARLY FOR SMOOTH OPERATION, AND MAINTAINS GOODHOUSEKEEPING AND SAFETY PRACTICES ON FLOOR. ASSISTS IN CASING ANDCEMENTING, TRIPPING PIPE AND SHUTTING DOWN RIG

ASSIST IN RECOGNITION AND PREVENTION OF UNSAFE ACTS OR CONDITIONSTO PREVENT ACCIDENTS. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF RIG PERSONNEL TOTHE SAFETY PROGRAMS AND PROCEDURES AVAILABLE ON THE DRILLING RIG.PROVIDE ORIENTATION TO THE RIG TO ALL NEW EMPLOYEES OR VISITORS.PROVIDE ON-SITE FIRST AID AND FIRST RESPONSE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE ANDTRIAGE FOLLOWING AND ACCIDENT OR INJURY REQUIRING MEDICALATTENTION. ASSIST IN THE REGULARY SCHEDULED SAFETY MEETINGS ANDDRILLS. FAMILIAR WITH POB’S WITH 100 OR MORE PEOPLE AND ALSO HAVE KNOWLEDGE WITH MICROSOFT EXCEL AND POWER POINT AND WORD
