I was in charge of the management and growth of the Environmental Program for Redhorse. I created a pipeline of future contracts and opportunities to grow the program, created cost and technical proposals for government contracts, and established connections with new and potential clients in natural resources consulting in southern California. Managed a crew of wildlife/plant biologist, GIS professionals, seasonal employees, and subcontractors in the implementation of the Fort Irwin Army Base and USFWS Biological Opinion (BO) in accordance with the Integrated Natural Resource Management Plan (INRMP).Perform monitoring surveys and produce reports on: Desert tortoise, Burrowing owls, Mojave fringe-toed lizard, Lane Mountain milkvetch, Desert cymopterus.Perform frequent client communication to discuss project progress, scheduling, and contract performance.Monitored 30 weather stations and produce annual climate reports.Perform bi-annual habitat assessment of natural springs and seeps.Handle all animal control issues for the installation involving wild animals: Desert tortoise, coyote, nesting birds, etc.Manage conservation areas and perimeter fencingPerformed NEPA habitat assessment surveys and provided construction site monitoring Give presentations to a variety of audiences (army, contractors, civilians) on natural resource management.Orchestrated the creation of Access databases and Geo-spatial databases for all historic data of natural resources on the installation
