In charge of shifts at busiest Boston Market in CT. We average between $29,000.00 and $35,000.00 a week in sales. I oversee guest relations, the cooking schedule, ordering and storing of inventory deliveries. There are usually between six and eight workers reporting to me during a shift, sometimes more. I have also made up the weekly work schedule. I deal with any customer complaints or problems. I am responsible for balancing all registers and money in the safe, and for managing change for the week. When I close, I am responsible for not running out of food while also not having too much food left over at the end of the night.

Was involved in all aspects of starting and running the business. I interviewed and hired all employees, ordered and stored inventory deliveries, dealt with customers, made the ice cream daily, was in charge of maintaining and cleaning all equipment, and was in charge of all monies both incoming and outgoing. I also had to let some employees go.We sold between 20 and 32 flavors of ice cream every day, in addition to Nathan’s hot dogs, chicken tenders, hot dog nuggets and fries. In 2010 I was able to expand our menu to include chicken sandwiches, burgers, and Philly cheesesteaks. We had an ice cream cart and did many events outside the store, including school fundraisers where we would donate half the proceeds to the school, and various athletic events. We also used our cart at local events such as the Teddy Bear Festival and New Milford’s Pumpkin Festival.

Back-office work for an investment firm. I acted as a liaison between the Stamford and London offices, balancing the activities between the two offices. This consisted of hundreds of daily transactions, which usually had fifty to one hundred problems that needed to be resolved. I also paid out interest payment on late payments made by UBS, and collected interest from other companies after investigating the transactions. Before this promotion I was team leader in handling securities, in charge of the area delivering and receiving wirable securities to other financial institutions. This also involved balancing all the securities and payments at the end of the day.
