RaySecur is a VC backed company developing and marketing 3D desktop scanners and AI software utilizing millimeter wave technology (TRays) that provide real-time, 3D imaging to detect even the smallest threats. RaySecur is growing rapidly. We have tripled our revenue in two years and doubled the size of our team over the last six months. We closed our oversubscribed A round September 2021 and put in place a multi-million dollar credit facility with SVB. As CFO of this high growth HaaS/SaaS company my role spans the entire enterprise. I work closely with our CEO and COO founder. In addition to the capital and debt raising activities, I work closely with our Sales organization to close and execute revenue contracts as well as driving strategic partnership and distributor agreements. I drive the strategic financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and delivering against plan. My hands-on areas of responsibility include cash and runway management, Board reporting, all financial reporting, consolidations, real estate (multiple countries), customer life cycle management, strategic technology vendor contracts, procurement and purchase to pay cycle, HR, tax, controls, audits, accounting policies and procedures. One of my prior CEO's, now a board advisory to a major PE firm, recruited me out of RaySecur to join Avasure as it's initial CFO post the PE firm's acquisition.

I helped raise equity, refinanced debt, managed the monthly close, did the Board package and reporting, annual budgeting and projections, annual audit, tax compliance. I also implemented new accounting standards including ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition, ASC 842 - Lease Accounting standards implementation. In my role, I partnered with CEOs, Presidents and Boards to develop financial strategies including capital and debt raising, strategic planning, growth strategies, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow/runway management.

As CFO John raised over $15M in new equity and credit facilities and guided the company through it's sale to Hooper Homes.
