Leads and assigns work related to operations planning and scheduling. • Utilizes the workforce management system to analyze availability and coordinate field operations personnel, equipment, and resources. • Responsible for the optimization of work schedules. Adjusts or delegates the adjustment of daily activities to account for unplanned events, conflicts, and customer priorities. • Monitors and provides data, analyses, and reports in support of budgeting and planning activities. • Participates in the planning and coordination of electric and gas operations work activities in an assigned geographic area, including new customer, system improvement, operational emergencies, and routine maintenance projects. • Utilizing workforce management technology, creates, updates, analyzes, and monitors job orders and work activities of operational technicians, construction crews, and equipment resources. Ensures adequate resources are scheduled appropriately for work activities. • Determines the most efficient allocation of resources across assigned locations to help ensure on-time completion of tasks and service reliability. • Performs all management duties including, but not limited to, budgeting, hiring, performance reviews, coordinating and scheduling work, salary recommendations, discipline, ensure employees report to work fit for duty, leadership, etc.

● Supervise Apprentice Program for Electric Meter Technicians – train, test, schedule, and complete proper paperwork for each Apprentice● Provide technical support to electric meter technicians in the field with new metering installations and in the repair of damaged or inaccurate metering installations ● Provide training and examination of metering personnel for advancement and day to day tasks● Maintain computer based meter analysis and documentation records systems for transformer compensation, line drop compensation, major project construction information and scheduling data● Perform analysis of the features and functions of complex solid state electric meters and meter devices, make recommendations for standardization and use of these meters
