As a Physician I am working for the Parkinson Expertcenter Peppelrode, as the mentor for an elderly care physician i.t., third year as a specialist supervising a physician and a nurse practitioner, as a consultant for general practitioners regarding complex geriatric issues. I am participating in the management team of our business section. Furthermore I participate in several committees improving quality of care in our company regarding farmaceutical care.

The committee is developing a formulary in order to get the best pharmaceutical treatment for frail elderly in general communities and nursing homes

As a pharmacologist in training I have several supervisors for the different wards I will work who themselves are pharmacologist or have particular experience in prescribing and monitoring pharmaceuticals. My main supervisor is dr. René Grouls, a very experienced pharmacist and of course clinical pharmacologist.
