No one really knows how many people mild to severe mental illness that live in the world and appear to be normal and live successful lives. People in such distresses are not in the habit of announcing themselves to the world, to family, or even themselves. They are too busy juggling responsibilities, working, paying the bills, studying for advancement, raising their families to the best of their abilities. It is not until the dark emotions, voices of unreasoning within themselves, or delusions that they present in society or are overwhelmed and living in the streets, do they seek help or help is provided to them. The past several years, I have dedicated my next career to helping these individuals, from my military experience to the receipt of my license as a Psychiatric Technician and beyond that I have received the ability and training required to aid such individuals in need.
