Agreement manager for On-Call Water Quality and Hazardous Materials Agreement with Washington State Department of Transportation. Worked with agency staff to define scopes of work, budgets, and technical criteria for task orders related to hazardous waste, water quality, and stormwater issues. Technical lead and task order manager for stormwater monitoring and reporting, stormwater facility inventory, stormwater best management practice evaluations, site investigations, water quality evaluations, and permitting assistance. Project manager for hazardous materials site investigations, long term groundwater monitoring and reporting. Lead geologist and project manager for Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) groundwater remedial investigation/feasibility study at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA. Conducted soil gas investigation and multimedia sampling to verify source areas. Installed series of 15 shallow and deep groundwater monitoring wells to evaluate contaminant fate and transport characteristics. Designed and installed pumping system and conducted short and long-term aquifer pump tests to evaluate aquifer characteristics. Prepared RI/FS report and presented results at public meetings.

Served as staff scientist, technical lead, task manager, and project manager for projects of varying complexity. Designed and conducted field investigations to evaluate impacts to sediment s and water quality at former wood processing sites, metal recyclers, and petroleum storage facilities. Summarized and evaluated field study results and prepared technical reports to detail results relative to regulatory criteria for human health and the environment. Managed quality assurance reviews and databases for physical and chemical data collected for remedial investigations/feasibility studies, independent cleanup actions, and long term monitoring activities. Coordinated laboratory analyses and reporting requirements to ensure technical requirements for project data were obtained.
