My name is John Volkert and I graduated with a communication major at the University of North Dakota. I worked as a Paraprofessional for 1 year and then went back to school to get my teaching license and masters degree at the University of St. Thomas. I have been a Special Education Teacher for the last 4 years and I am now looking to make a career change and work in the corporate world. Loyalty, Patience, Communication, and collaboration are what I consider my top skills. While I taught, I honed in my skills in communication, working with a team, data analytics, and Individualized educational planning. I learned how to collaborate with other teachers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and school Psychologists. During covid, I taught online and became proficient in using online video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, and WebEx. I am a driven worker that views loyalty as the number one value in an employee and company. I look forward to hearing from you on a potential opportunity.
