Managing crews and subcontractors performing all aspects of SELA-22, the project consisted of excavation, sheet pile, concrete flat work, roadway paving, box culvert construction, and water and sewer piping.

Employed January of 2005 as an Estimator performing quantity take-offs on highway, site grading, sanitary sewer, pump station, levee, and storm-water projects; soliciting quotes and writing subcontracts. In the fall of 2006 received a promotion to Project Controls Analyst with responsibilities of preparing submittals, issuing purchase orders, subcontractor payments, correspondence with clients, scheduling updates, quantity calculations for pay applications, all types of change orders, all closeout documents including material certifications and federal forms, and coordination with the client for additional work. During the spring of 2007 advanced to Quality Control Manager. Duties included full oversight of the QC program and managing up to 5 QC assistants, writing and reviewing daily QC reports, assuring all work was performed according to the plans & specifications, and ensuring that all quantities and back up data was collected for payment. Promoted November 2010 to Project Manager. This work entailed managing multiple crews with up to a 100 person payroll, scheduling work to comply with mile stones and contract completion dates, tracking cost to ensure compliance with budgets, ensuring the work performed was within the scope of the contract, pursuing change orders and modifications when work was requested outside the scope of the contract, and dealing directly with the owner to maintain a healthy working relationship. • Employee of the month July 2005• 2009 Excellence in Quality award• 2010 Employee of the year award

Started working for Bonds Paving as a labor on an asphalt crew. Was moved to the survey crew in 2002. Job responsibilities included grade calculations, job-site layout with the use of levels and total stations, and assisting crew leaders with questions dealing with layout.
