I love to solve problems. And not just band-aiding them, really working to solve problems by analysing to their root cause and developing a strategic solution. I am also good with people and able to work and collaborate with people from all walks of life. Together this means I can dig into organisational problems and work with their people to solve them. I am a strong communicator. Whether its actively listening or delivering a presentation. Copywriting for an ad campaign. Or preparing a pitch for a potential collaborator. I can write and communicate effectively and persuasively without being pushy. I am interested in people and like to treat them with respect.I am creative. Whether it is producing an event. Writing a script. Or directing a video shoot. For me nothing is more stimulating than utilising the creative process to make something useful and beautiful. My creativity also means that I naturally think outside the box, a very useful skill when working in strategy, marketing or managing a project.I have enjoyed several leadership roles throughout my career working in strategy, marketing, business development, project and event management. I have travelled extensively building deep networks and good friends throughout New Zealand, China, Japan, North America, Europe and the UK. I embrace change and love to learn new things. I also love to design and make furniture.I like to roll my sleeves up, I guess that’s the maker in me. I prefer to be where the people are, and the action is. I want to work with people and organisations who want to create positive culture and set their businesses up for growth. Please feel free to contact me via LinkedIn.
