I have completed a Master of Engineering (Sustainable Energy) as I have a strong passion for sustainability and emerging green technologies. I apply my problem solving and reasoning skills to devise demand management strategies and pathways for efficiency improvement. I am driven to fine-tune processes by identifying areas where the best value improvements can be made. My thesis was based on generating measurable improvements to system efficiency to reduce energy usage, carbon emissions, and operational costs at a water utility corporation. There was also a focus on demand response and demand shifting.As a laboratory infrastructure professional, my knowledge and organisational support allow researchers to conduct their work unhindered. I'm always enthusiastic to collaborate with my colleagues on challenging projects, and to apply strategic thinking to achieve the desired outcome.With strong transferable skills including my ability as a fast learner, I am excited to contribute in the rapidly expanding area of sustainability and renewable energy. My experience in stakeholder engagement and communication, along with management of projects and outside-the-box thinking would be very beneficial alongside developing my skills as an engineer.
