Assists the Director in overseeing assigned work projects.Receives training from the Facility Director in the following: Budgets; Children & Families Services licensure and monitors; and Department of Corrections regulations and monitors.Assists in the monitoring of all contracts.

• Manages a safe, healthy, secure facility with capacity for twenty eight (28) juvenile offenders, aged 14 through 18 and have been adjudicated as public youthful offenders. • Monitors employees' performance and manages disciplinary matters as warranted. Serves as Intermediate Supervisor in the Company grievance process as the final step in the process before the issue is sent on to the Vice President for action.• Ensures that policies, services and programs are in place to meet the youth' needs. Provides youth with skills to make positive changes while in custody that will enable them to return to the community with reduced risk to reoffend. Develops and maintains resident behavior management system.

Accountable for the total operation of the residential facility in compliance with standards of operations and quality assurance program and applicable local, state and federal regulations.Responsible for the security of all entryways, greeting and signing in guests, verifying visitor credentials and removing unauthorized visitors. Also in charge of maintaining locks and keeping track of all building keys while monitoring staff and inmates in a 24/7 environment.Additional to job duties perform risk assessments to determine security threats and assuring current security measures meet security policies and standards. Ensure staff monitors the premises of the workplaces on foot or closed circuit television (CCTV), and supervising at the door. Plans and organizes systems of care, objectives, policies, procedures, staffing patterns and staff development based on the needs of the facility within the framework of the established budget.
