Responsible for the life cycle management of all American Airlines GSE (Ground Support Equipment), approx. 50,000 powered and non-powered assets for all Domestic US, Canada and MCLA (Mexico, Caribbean and Latin American) and European American Airlines hubs and downline stations. 
General responsibilities and duties include but not limited to: • Leading multi geographical located teams in the design and specification; procurement and disposal; preventative maintenance programs and scheduling; warranty recovery; obsolescence and reliability and Information Systems Administration for all GSE Assets within the American Airlines enterprise. • Coordinates the management of personnel conducting research and testing programs on ground service equipment considered for acquisition based on such factors as operational performance, costs of operation and maintenance, operational safety, and compliance with Federal, State and local environmental laws and regulations.• Manage procurement practices of all types of company owned and operated ground service equipment, materials, supplies, and parts required to maintain such equipment. • Coordinates with Ground Equipment Operational group management teams at all locations to determine equipment requirements and current equipment reliability.• Create and maintain relationships with GSE equipment manufacturers and negotiates purchase terms and conditions for GSE equipment.Assist in the development of training materials and procedural manuals, and conduct training and orientation as necessary for GSE software and procedural programs.Coordinate and develop annual capital GSE replacement plans and assure budget is met and aligned with equipment specifications. Create and maintain working relationships between internal and external customers as related to their fleet and their requirements. Transferring those requirements in to specifications and working with internal fleet team to develop specifications to meet the requirements
