I have excelled within information technology the past 20 years beginning as a database and application developer and transitioning to the role of technical Business Analyst. During the past eight years as a technical Business Analyst, I have been able to leverage the deep technical understanding that comes from development to deliver business documents that provide the high level language preferred by busy business professionals while also delivering the deeper technical details craved by development staff. I thrive best in a rapid fire environment where multiple challenges are standard and where flexibility is key. I have made an art of taking ambiguous asks and turning them into deliverables gathering the data, information and skills needed to accomplish the mission on the fly. At the end of the day, no Business Analyst succeeds without the fundamental ability to create and maintain relationships and I am a believer that the BA role begins with a servant to all mentality to my team and to the customer.In my current role, in addition to being the Business Analyst, I am also the Scrum Master for my team acting as the waymaker for the team to convert story points into delivered goods.
