I started my career as a machine designer and project manager, primarily in the freight railroad and lumber industries making large, automated machines.In 2010 I attended the International Space University, which turned into an opportunity at Tohoku University in Japan.I completed a PhD in Space Robotics, related to the Hakuto Google Lunar XPRIZE and ispace, inc. there in 2016. Since then I’ve worked at ispace developing lunar rovers.

I designed a prototype deployable solar panel system for the rover and performed mechanical design on other parts of the rover and ensured integration of all.
