Project included implementing a shared service, new processes, a common ERP- PeopleSoft and redesigned procurement operations, distribution, and inventory management. The project included the largest health provider ERP implementation as a key enabler of the implementation. The project had specific focus on transforming the supply chain, building new business processes, and driving savings.Global Supply Chain Operations Lead and SAP ERP Implementation: • Pharmaceutical Company: Procurement Lead for the Supply Chain of a global pharmaceutical manufacturer’s supply chain, with over $20 billion in supply chain spend. Oversaw the transition of services globally to Accenture, implementing new services such as spot buying, managing Procurement on a global basis. Hired over 500 new team members, implemented new business processes, installed SAP’s ERP system and sourcing capabilities globally. Implemented savings of over 20% per year for addressable categories and operating costs. Health Care Technology Transformation: • Academic Health System: Project lead for a supply chain transformation project at a major academic health system and its 10 affiliate organizations. The project was the development of a comprehensive assessment, business plan and implementation and selection of Technology Enablers. Worked directly with executive, medical staff, clinical and materials management leadership, savings opportunities (>$70M) were developed and through major process improvements, redesigned organization structure and Op Model, value analysis process governance, distribution management redesign, clinical standardization.
