I completed my tertiary studies in Environmental Science and worked as a Technical Assistant for a French oil and gas exploration company. Then worked for TAFE Qld as a Laboratory Technician for an extensive period. This is where I was able to train and work as a Safety Advisor, Records Officer, Short Course Coordinator, Instructor and Emergency Response Officer. Over the past five years I have been working as a Records Administration Officer for a contracting company serving the Department of Veteran Affairs, at the records repository at Cannon Hill in Brisbane. Unfortunately due to major budget reductions my contract won't be renewed. On a more personal level, over the past five years I have also undertaken Facilitator training and co-facilitated several short courses privately for a not for profit organisation in Brisbane.
