Designed and built the mobile robotic platform and pruning end-effector. Selected and integrated the robotic arm and navigation sensors such as cameras and dual-band RTK GPS. Co-developed the autonomy stack and build system. Also co-developed a mobile vision system based on the Nvidia Xavier that supported fisheye stereo CSI cameras and a custom WebRTC tele-operation system.

Transitioning Unity-based robotics simulator and autonomous quadrotor software and hardware from MIT's DARPA Fast Lightweight Autonomy work. Continuing research and development projects related to autonomous vehicle navigation, planning, and control. Developing and evaluating visual-inertial odometry and SLAM systems with a focus towards leveraging fisheye cameras.

Technical Lead on DARPA Fast Lightweight Autonomy (FLA) program. FLA focused on high-speed quadrotor flight through unknown, GPS-denied environments, e.g. indoor office warehouse forests, and urban operation. As a co-lead of the team, responsible for overseeing and guiding the technical vision, development, and testing for the joint MIT and Draper Laboratories team. Worked with graduate students to select relevant research topics and then assist in the development, testing, and integration with the FLA software stack. Helped maintain the overall flight system and develop several key software components such as the 3D mapper, global planner, and local planner. Also developed both the hardware and software for an IMU board that handles time synchronization for a set of cameras.

Responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and software development of tethered UAV prototypes and their support systems. Developed a novel, active spooling system to manage the high-voltage, twisted-pair wire that carried power and data between the tethered quadrotor and groundstation. Designed, developed, and tested the circuit boards, control software, and mechanical components. Selected the actuators, sensors, and connectors. Developed the mechanical housing for the high-voltage power station and worked with wire manufacturers to design, test, and develop a twisted-pair wire winding pattern and mechanism.

Responsible for maintenance and rebuild of the formula cars for the Star Mazda Series. Assisted engineers through the use of lap simulation programs, vehicle dynamics, and kinematics software. As a lead engineer in the Star Mazda Series, responsible for managing a driver and mechanic, as well as the testing and tuning process at the track.
