I am a talented professional with a passion for technology. I stay current in an ever-changing industry by consistently learning about new applications, operating systems, and hardware through industry publications and hands-on experience.Throughout my career, I have leveraged my strong communication and relationship development skills to establish and foster strong relationships with end users, managers, peers, and company stakeholders. These relationships enable the IT department to gain the trust of groups across the organization, which becomes critical to gain support during complex migrations and projects.My background includes supporting more than 2,000 users from a large call center environment within a Microsoft Windows and Active Directory platform. During this time, I managed and supported a broad range of hardware, software, and peripherals. In addition, I have the ability to identify areas needing improvement and create long-term solutions. One example of this is during my time with Energy Northwest. I recognized that the department needed to increase ticket resolution time. I was able to resolve this by creating and maintaining helpdesk support procedures, which provided staff with the ability to quickly resolve a variety of common issues.A few examples of my contributions include:* Reduced equipment cost by designing and implementing new asset management application. * Led departmental training in the utilization of Integrated Database Management System used for creating and maintaining shared information within a highly regulated environment.* Played a key role in the migration from Windows XP to 7.* Improved overall security and business continuity by creating MS Access database.* Previously held a Secret Security Clearance.
