I worked to daily deadlines and as well as being out in the field doing news packages I conducted phone interviews and wrote stories for the evening news bulletin. I also produced more investigative pieces such as regional council’s double-standards on waterway pollution, rural depopulation and a court case, which have earned me two journalism awards from NZGAJ.
