 Performs DFAR security assessments on all company environments/systems storing or transmitting Covered Defense Information (CDI) by means of NIST 800-171 and 800-53 requirements and controls. Conducts onsite and virtual Supplier Assessments and Risk Analysis to help determine their security posture and risk to the company. Leads Site Security Compliance Assessment effort for over 100 international and domestic sites. Interfaces with Government/Civil/Commercial counter-parts, as… Show more  Performs DFAR security assessments on all company environments/systems storing or transmitting Covered Defense Information (CDI) by means of NIST 800-171 and 800-53 requirements and controls. Conducts onsite and virtual Supplier Assessments and Risk Analysis to help determine their security posture and risk to the company. Leads Site Security Compliance Assessment effort for over 100 international and domestic sites. Interfaces with Government/Civil/Commercial counter-parts, as well as subcontractor members working on program related contracts, SLAs, vertical alignment and communication, and defining the need/risk of software/services.• Generates POA&Ms (Plan Of Action and Milestones) as a result of GAP analysis where systems/environments show non-compliant conditions as a result of either an assessment or scans.  Develops requirements definitions for new/existing systems under development, designs technology solution, determines test requirements, and supports the implementation of secure systems to secure the business infrastructure and intellectual capital. Conducts and administers fiscal operations, including planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services and computing devices, and coordinating financial reporting.  Develops system architecture diagrams, threat-models, and System Security Reports to present before Technical Review Boards for approval to operate and/or to implement into a Production environment. Leads Security Engineer program to ensure that secure development, design, coding, and system deployment practices are consistently implemented in all complex IT projects and minor IT and engineering investments.  College Adjunct Professor 14+ years; proficient presentation skills, a continuous learner, immersed in reading and understanding the use and implementation of emerging technologies.
