Working in the field of Occupational Health & Safety I have held positions as HSE Manager / Coach & Safety Coordinator with a number of major blue chip companies both in the UK and overseas including Du Pont, British Energy, I.C.I. Chevron Texaco Nigeria, BP, Repsol YPF Libya, ConocoPhilips, Ferrostaal GmBh Romania, Siemens PLC, Several Water Authorities throughout the UK. I have managed safety systems both in construction and process I have been involved in the installation of mechanical & electrical equipment. I am fully conversant with the permit to work systems & electrical/mechanical isolations. I am experienced in the setting up of auditing systems, and the use of these systems to ensure compliance with company policy's and procedures. I have trained local and expatriate personnel on a safe system of work, fire risk management, and emergency procedures. I am practiced in investigating and solving safety problems. I possess good communication and influencing skills with man management experience. I am practiced in accident/incident investigation & reporting, implementing ISO environmental standards. I have acted on behalf of both the client and as a contractor in doing so I have had to communicate with all levels from directors to the shop floor. I am computer literate and conversant with windows based programs.Hobbies include fresh water match fishing, Computers and Travelling.
