I am extremely passionate about making mental health care accessible and affordable for everyone. For most of my life, I have struggled with my own mental health and been reluctant to share my journey. Not only do I want to change my mindset, I want to help others to feel confident about their own journey to receive high quality therapy. I also struggle with selling myself or sharing things i’ve learned, but here is my attempt at doing that. Like ripping off a band-aid…1) No matter where you’re at in life, everyone can benefit from therapy.2) Therapists (or similar professionals) have the skills, schooling, and expertise to positively change your life.3) I'm an advocate for children and adolescents to begin therapy early. I didn’t begin going to therapy until I was in my 20’s. Could have helped a lot if I had started earlier.4) I combined my passions of mental health care, and my strength in entrepreneurship to become a Master Franchisee owner of Nora Mental Health in Utah, Arizona, and Colorado.5) Crisis + Time = Humor!6) Prioritizing your mental health is just as important as your physical health.7) As a society, we need to normalize mental health illness and care. REMOVE THE STIGMA!
