For the past 30 years, I have been the active president of my own public IT consulting firm. To fulfil the needs of the projects I manage, I outsource to several highly skilled companies and individuals, on an “as required” basis. In other circumstances, my skill set is utilized as part of a team for specific projects. I continue to be actively involved in a multitude of industries and a vast, diverse group of IT solutions. This involvement includes project supervision and management, consulting, provision of complete business solutions, software and application development, testing, training and implementation, data migration from existing solutions if required, network architecture design, development of servers, directory services, enterprise virtualization (VMware) and productivity applications. These solutions have been hosted on, but not limited to, mainframes, midranges and enterprise servers. In addition to the typical peripherals, solutions have integrated with POS, barcode scanning solutions, Johnson controllers, weigh scales and IOT/M2M. Beyond core business applications, I have extensive supervisory experience with CAD, CAM, CRM and POS. These solutions continue to be used across Canada, in several states in the USA, Mexico, Russia (now Lithuania and Latvia) and Germany.I have supervised and consulted in the fields of banking/finance, manufacturing, agricultural organizations, medical facilities, veterinary clinics, retail operations and service industries, just to mention a few. Even with the broadness of my experience and exposure, and a commitment to provide the highest quality solutions and service, I am always looking forward to new challenges and experiences.
