After a 21-year run with such a generous and awesome company that is Sony PlayStation, all good things must come to an end. Retail times are changing and so must the Company to adapt. I wish nothing but future success for Sony PlayStation. As for me, I'm going to assess my options, enjoy life, work on my hobbies such as hiking in the Great Northwest and my boardgame project I am forever working on. As Picard would say, "Let's see what's out there" and as for my PlayStation Rep Peeps...As Jack Burton would say, "We really shook the pillars of heaven..." Life is Good!!!!

Responsibilities Include: Merchandising and placement for PlayStation product at retail locations, resolving issues and building constructive customer relations at the retail level, coordinating special events and trainings at retail stores, interactive repair and troubleshooting, observing and reporting market trends and other pertinent information. Covered up to 100+ stores from Olympia to Bellingham over my 21-year career. Worked numerous Vendor and Trade Shows over the years on multiple sides from setting up displays to Presentations to demoing product including E3, PAX and D.I.C.E. Summit trade shows and GameCrazy, GameStop, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco and Boeing vendor shows. As Lead PlayStation Rep, I assisted the District Manager in follow up PlayStation Rep work-withs, special field information requests from Corporate and many other tasks that promoted team cohesion. During Pandemic Work From Home, I volunteered for PlayStation Network Online Moderation for 6 months removing offensive content from the platform.

District Coordinator title eventually evolved into Lead PlayStation Representative title. I was the first in the program which assisted the District Manager in any follow up PlayStation Rep Work Withs, Market Recaps and any other tasks outside my normal duties that Management needed to be done

Worked for a Canadian based video game retailer. Responsibilities included store design and layout, product ordering, Sales and Marketing, merchandising, hiring and supervision for 4 US retail game stores and assisted with 5 Canadian retail stores. Temporarily relocated to Mississauga, Ontario to open up new store locations. In 1995, as Vice President and co-owner, purchased Fam Com locations in Federal Way, Everett and Puyallup, WA which specialized in new, used and rental of video games and systems. In 1996, we opened a third store in Redmond, WA. Responsibilities included, overseeing three store locations, hiring employees, ordering product, merchandising, implementing store procedures and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities included price quotes for corporate business customers specifically concentrating on hardware and software for desktop publishing systems, maintaining corporate accounts and customer support and installation of Corporate purchases such as CAD printers for Seattle Architecture firm. Assisted in Graphic Design Photo touch up for a National Geographic CD-ROM project that was contracted out to Ballard Computer

Worked for a Redmond based retail video game company. Responsibilities Included: new store design and layout, store signage, designing both radio and print ads, coordinating with contractors and getting new store operations functional. Temporarily relocated to open stores in San Jose and Colma, CA. I also worked for TrySoft of America, a Nintendo Retailer, at their Bellingham, WA location (1988-1990) and T.I.P.S. Employment Guide as a Graphic Designer in Redmond, WA (1990-1991.). All experience above was under the same ownership.
