Hired as estimator and moved into Plant Manager's position within 3 months. Responsible for safety, production, quality, labor relations and on-time delivery for production in a $24MM facility. Realized benefits, from modernizing and applying lean philosophies of increased production capabilities 2005-2007 Plant Manager, Graph-Pak- downsized through lack of sales Responsible for safety, production, quality, labor relations and on-time delivery for production in a $22MM facility. Realized benefits from applying lean philosophies.Promoted from Manufacturing Manager to Plant Manager, with responsibilities including scheduling, some estimating, along with all production.2003-2005 Cutting and Maintenance Manager, Caraustar-Chicago CartonTotal responsibility for design, tooling and production departments in $42MM facility. Promotion to Maintenance Manager, along with Cutting Manager responsibilities, by training 2 supervisors to oversee primary approval processes. Work force trimmed in maintenance by almost $400,000 annually while increasing uptime on machinery. 1987-2003 General Manager, Lasting ImpressionsResponsible for sales and production for facility.
